“The photos that changed me forever”

“When my baby was 4 months old I had some professional photos taken. The moment I saw them I was shocked at how big I had become and was really upset at how I looked”.

“How I lost 30Kgs*”

Kylie had been following the Healthy Mummy Facebook group and free recipes for sometime. Not long after receiving the photos that shocked and saddened her she saw a sale on the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and signed up immediately. Kylie says “I’m so glad I did!

“I’ve been following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge meal plans and enjoying the smoothies for over a year now and I love it!” 

Meal planning – keeping it simple

“The meal plans have saved us lots of money as we are wasting less food and only buying what we actually need”. 

“My meal prep is pretty simple. I cut up vegetable sticks for snacks, boil eggs, and prepare baked goods for the week. This helps me to stay on track on my busy days”.

“I used to hate exercise”

When Kylie started the Healthy Mummy program her daughter was very little. She says “It can be challenging getting out of the house to exercise when they are young”.  We hear you Kylie!

“I would strongly recommend buying a quality baby carrier so you can keep your baby content while going for a walk.  It’s been a huge lifesaver for me!”. 

Kylie goes for a walk everyday. “It’s  an easy exercise I can do with my kids. We walk to the park, to the shops or to school”. 

In addition to daily walks, Kylie also attends ‘kangatraining’ once or twice a week – an exercise class you do with your baby in a carrier. She says “It’s been something I’ve really enjoyed doing. As someone who used to hate exercise, that’s saying a lot! “.

How my life has changed

Since joining the Healthy Mummy Kylie has become fitter, healthier and happier.

She says “I am happy to say I am not ashamed of my looks anymore”.

Losing over 30Kgs* and going from a size 16/18 to a size 12. Kylie says “I hope to lose my last 12kgs by the end of this year”. 

“Even though I’m not at my goal weight yet I am confident enough to go shopping and try on new clothes”. 

“I love that with Healthy Mummy I’m setting a better example for my children by both eating better and by staying active”.
