In February last year, this mum weighed 132.7kg and she was extremely uncomfortable sharing photos.
She started her Healthy Mummy journey in February 2017 after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure and dilated cardiomyopathy.
Today Jessica weighs 75.4kg and says The Healthy Mummy has been an amazing support for her.
Jessica’s weight loss journey
Now that she’s lost 57.3kg, Jessica is filled with energy and is able to play with her kids willingly!
“I enjoy The Healthy Mummy meals on the blog and I have so much more energy than I did before. I’m able to keep up with my kids and I feel amazing,” she said.
Jessica eats pretty much the same foods every day, which consists of 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter or tomato, avocado, eggs or hummus.
Lunch she will have a green smoothie and a protein bar or bliss balls and then dinner is served on a bread and butter plate and is fish and salad, wraps, or chicken with vegetables.
“I eat at 7.30am, 12.30pm and 4.30pm. I also only drink 1500ml of water a day as I’m on fluid restrictions due to my heart condition,” Jessica says.
She also exercises every day for 1 hour!
