Before starting her journey with The Healthy Mummy in May 2016, this beautiful mum-of-four disliked the way she looked. She constantly felt down, unhealthy and super tired.
Fast forward to today and Courtney has lost an amazing 16kgs* following The Healthy Mummy’s 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges. Courtney reveals the key to her success was getting organised!
Courtney says: “The biggest key to staying on track, for me, is my food. Organisation is the key; meal prep whatever you can and start taking the time for yourself!”
“I love using The Healthy Mummy app to plan my meals for the week. Even when I feel unprepared, I’m never really unprepared because I always have the app with me on my phone that I can whip out when-ever and where-ever and find a healthy, yummy recipe,” Courtney says.
How Is The 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge Different To Other Weight Loss Programs?
“I love The Healthy Mummy’s 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges. They are different to other weight loss programs in that we aren’t restricted to a stupidly low calorie intake and we are given guidance on what foods are the best to eat. I’ve never felt hungry or unsatisfied or depressed because I feel like I’m missing out,” says Courtney.
“I make better choices all round now, I am more active and I am much more aware of the food I am eating.”
Find Some ‘Me’ Time
When you’re a busy mum, it can be tricky finding some time in your day for ‘me’ time. However, Courtney reminds us just how important this time is!
“I find doing exercise gives me that little bit of “me” time, it clears my head and recharges me for my day,” says Courtney.
Look Out February – Here She Comes!
“My fitness goal for February is to get back on track, after indulging a little over the Holiday season. My plan is to exercise more often this month and to continue to make better choices with my food. I plan on walking 3-4 times a week and attending group fitness classes 5 times a week.”
