Ingredients
  • 1/4cup puffed rice
  • 1/4cup pepitas
  • 1tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 1/4cup coconut oilmelted
  • 2tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 2tbsp pure maple syrup
Instructions
  1. In a small frying pan, over medium heat, dry roast the puffed rice, pepitas and coconut for 90 seconds or until golden.
  2. Be sure to stir the ingredients continuously to prevent burning. (you can skip this step but the final result will be less crunchy).
  3. Remove from the heat and set side to cool.
  4. Over low heat, mix coconut oil, cacao and maple syrup and stir until combined then remove from heat.
  5. Combine both mixtures and spoon into mini silicone moulds or patty cases and place in the fridge/freezer to set.
  6. Can be stored in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container.
