Significant Discovery Made In How To Predetermine The Sex Of Your Baby

Imagine if you had the ability to choose the sex of your child. While it is possible, it is never guaranteed and it can be incredibly expensive. Until now.

A ground-breaking discovery could provide the missing link that many parents, desperate for a specific gender have been waiting for.

While there have been several old wives tales and diets that promise you a boy or a girl, a new study conducted at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada, may help hopeful parents conceive the gender of their choice.

Blood Pressure Readings May Hold the Key to Predetermining Sex

Researchers have confirmed that there is a direct link between the blood pressure of an expecting mother and the gender of bub.

Trying for a boy? Then you better look at ways to raise your blood pressure before conceiving. Want a little girl? Then it’s important to lower your blood pressure before starting to try.

Women with higher blood pressure 45 per cent more likely to conceive a boy.

The study, which included 1,411 expecting mothers, uncovered that women with a higher blood pressure reading before falling pregnant were around 45 per cent more likely to conceive a boy than those with the lowest.

Dr Ravi Retnakaran, the lead researcher, said their findings “suggest that a woman’s blood pressure before pregnancy is a previously unrecognised factor that is associated with her likelihood of delivering a boy or girl”.

The average systolic blood pressure reading for women who had boys read at 106 mm Hg while the mothers who had girls averaged a reading of 103.3 mm Hg. The systolic reading (this is the top number in your blood pressure reading) needs to be between 90 and 120 to be considered normal.

The study, which was published in the American Journal of Hypertension, made the necessary adjustments for age, education, smoking, BMI, waist, cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose.

Is it possible to control blood pressure?

In some instances, yes. There are ways to lower your blood pressure through diet, exercise and cutting down on certain lifestyle choices like tobacco and alcohol.

There are also ways to raise your blood pressure including eating more salt, drinking excessive water and taking certain prescription medications.

Have a look at some of the other inconclusive (but perhaps worth a try) gender pre-determinations that we have discovered, including what sex positions and foods to eat (or even whether your belly button is smiling or not) that might possibly help you conceive the gender of your choice.
