Ingredients
  • 2cups pitted dates
  • 375ml boiling water
  • 4cups rolled oats
  • 1/2tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2cup quinoa flakes
  • 1/2cup coconut oilmelted
  • 1/4cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4cup cacao powder
Instructions
  1. Soak dates in boiling water for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Place the oats, salt and quinoa flakes into a food processor and blitz on high until they resemble flour texture.
  3. Add dates including water to oat flour.
  4. Blitz on high until combined.
  5. Firmly press mixture into a 20×30 cm lined slice tray.
  6. In a small bowl whisk melted coconut oil, maple syrup and cacao powder together until combined.
  7. Pour chocolate mix over top of caramel brownie base and place into refrigerator for 1 hour to set.
  8. Once set, slice into 14 slices.
  9. Store in refrigerator for up to 7 days.
