Ingredients
For the buns

wholemeal self raising flour

sultanas
soaked in hot water for 5 minutes

honey

tbsp
pure maple syrup

coconut oil
melted

milk of choice
1/2
tsp
all spice
1/2
tsp
cinnamon
1/4
tsp
nutmeg
1/4
tsp
ground ginger

orange
zest and juice

baking powder
1-2
tsp
extra coconut oil
melted for brushing
For the cross

tbsp
plain flour
2
tbsp
milk of choice
1/4
tsp
vanilla extract
For glaze

tsp
honey

tsp
maple syrup

coconut oil
Instructions
Pre heat oven to 160 degrees celsius.
Drain sultanas.
Place all main ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until combined. Then kneed dough on bench until smooth ball forms (10 minutes approx).
Cut dough into 11 portions, roll each portion into a round ball. Place on lined baking tray.
Press each ball down slightly and brush with coconut oil .
Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove tray from oven and pipe the cross onto each portion, place back into oven for 5-10 minutes.
To make the glaze, place ingredients in microwave safe bowl and microwave for 20 seconds before brushing over cooked buns.
