Krystal Lee Davis lost almost 10kgs on the 8 Week Challenge
Krystal Lee Davis is 32 has a 3-year-old son and realised she had an unhealthy relationship with food that she wanted to change so that her son saw her have a healthier relationship with food.
“I had been putting on weight quite quickly and had created an unhealthy relationship with food. Because of this, I had no energy and doing little things like getting up off the ground was becoming a challenge.”
“I didn’t want to set this example for my son, and I hated who I saw in the mirror.”
She signed up for the 8 week challenge with the goals of reaching 10k steps a day, eating healthier and exercising at least 3 times a week, in the end, she also lost almost 10kg.
Grace lost almost 12 kilos in under 2 months
Grace, 44, is a busy mum of 7 children aged between 27 and 5 years old.
For Grace, the defining moment for wanting to make a change to her physical health was finally facing a mirror. It had a huge impact on her.
She shares, “I never ever looked at myself in the mirror and one day two months ago I made myself look and I really didn’t like what I saw and that made me want to change my life.”
Determined to change her life and take control of her health and weight loss goals, Grace joined The Healthy Mummy in just under 2 months she had lost 11.9 kilos. Over three years later she is still maintaining over a 30kg weight loss success and striving to improve her muscle strength and body mass.
Tarryn – 10kg lost in 8 weeks
Wowser, Tarryn dropped 10kg in just eight weeks!
This amazing mum-of-seven first joined the 8 Week Challenge in February 2023 after the birth of her daughter in January!
Tarryn is a 31 year old homeschooling Mum of 7, from QLD. She started with the Healthy Mummy in 2022 after baby #6. A pregnancy in between and back at it again post baby #7 in 2023.
“I had gained so much weight after and during my pregnancies. It was becoming physically impossible to do everyday tasks and I knew something needed to change, but I didn’t know where to start,” she says.
“That’s when I heard about The Healthy Mummy’s 8 Week Challenge and took a chance for myself and my health, and I’m so glad I did.”
“I set myself a small weight-loss goal and I certainly achieved that, plus some. I lost 10 kgs in my very first 8 Week Challenge, and I couldn’t have been happier, as the results just kept coming afterwards,” she says.
“I was so excited to see the scale go down, but couldn’t believe the other incredible benefits I seen and felt from starting this journey.”
Amazingly, Tarryn says she’s noticed she has increased energy, more flexibility, strength, better posture, healthier habits and a better metabolism.
