What a milestone!

When Brigitte was on her way to her son’s swimming lesson this week, she realised she’d forgotten her own swimmers. But when she arrived at Kmart, there were no one pieces in her size.

Brigitte says, “I panicked but then thought stuff it I don’t have time to freak out and grabbed this $9 bikini because I wasn’t going to spend a lot of money on something I won’t wear again. A bikini with a non high waist bottom (because they were all gone too).” 

Like many mums who have lost weight, Brigitte felt self conscious showing her tummy.

“I started hating my loose skin while looking in the mirror of the change rooms at the pool but once I walked out not a single person looked at me, said anything or pointed at me.”

“I stressed out for NO REASON! I’m not going to say I’ll wear a bikini like this all the time but it’s nice to know that there is no reason why I can’t.”
