Granny loses almost 52kg in 12 months and goes from a size 26 down to a size 16

At 49, Caroline Robinson has five kids and three grandkids. And this amazing granny was able to lose 51.9kg after a specialist gave her a 12 month challenge to lose 50kg, following some health issues.

Thankfully, she stumbled across the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and now she’s feeling invincible!

Caroline reveals she had been telling herself that she needed to really do something about her health and wanted to drop significant kilos.

She then went went to the hospital, because she was struggling on her knees and hips, and she was told by the specialist she needed to lose weight.

“I agreed I would, but in my head I was telling myself no way can I do this,” she says.

“When I heard my doctor telling his staff, no way in the world would I be able to lose that kind of weight, I told myself, ‘yes you can, you can do anything’.”

In just 12 months, Caroline has lost 51.9kg and has gone from a size 26 down to a size 16. In fact, she even did a sky dive to celebrate her weight loss success!

“I have learnt everything I know know from The Healthy Mummy. I started this new lifestyle 10th June 2020,” she says.

“I no longer have asthma attacks anymore, my blood pressure is under control. The heartburn is also under control.”

Unbelievably, Caroline admits until one month ago, she would not look in a mirror, not even to do her hair!

“I am starting to love myself again and I believe this is also helping with my mental health,” she says.

“With needing double hip and knee replacements it’s hard to do workouts. I know how to do my pushups using the wall. I find it is helping me.”
