Amy Lee Hilliard felt fed up with her belly fat, but she’s managed to lose 25kg with help from the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and she’s managed to tone her tummy too!
Ditching the takeaways
Amy reveals after the birth of her third baby, she had a ‘horrible’ diet, and would often opt for unhealthy deep fried foods or takeaway.
“I was eating veggies, but I wouldn’t eat breakfast, I’d eat takeaway for lunch and my dinners would have veggies and salad but I’d heap my plate with lots of bad carbs,” she says.
“At night time I wouldn’t think twice about demolishing a bag of chips or a block of chocolate.”
Amy then found The Healthy Mummy and later joined the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and she’s since lost 25kg! AMAZING.
“I cut out the soft drinks and bad carbs. Foods that are high in sugar and sodium I try to avoid, as I find I get a fluid retention bloat afterwards,” she admits.
“I make sure I drink plenty of water and eat fresh foods, avoiding anything processed, as well as cutting back on dairy.”
Amy reveals she loves the variety of recipes on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge, which is also family friendly.
“I love how with The Healthy Mummy you don’t have to miss out on anything, it’s just about teaching you about a healthier clean lifestyle,” she says.
Amy reveals that the exercises on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge has also really helped with her mental health as well as her physical health.
“I choose core exercises, such as a lot of sit ups, planks and Russian twists, but I also do cardio at the gym,” she says.
“My entire outlook on my life and body has completely changed since finding The Healthy Mummy.”
