Six mums have lost 141kgs combined and are celebrating their weight loss!

Steph McCullock

Steph says, “Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our forth wedding anniversary. Even at 141kgs I felt beautiful that day as I married the love of my life. I decided to put on my wedding dress yesterday but it doesn’t quite look the same now.

I have lost over 47kgs, and a staggering 78kgs from when I gave birth to my son. I’ve never looked back. You can do it!”

Trista Cashman

Trista says, “It works! I started my first 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge on 29th October 2018.  The first picture was taken at family photos the last weekend of my first 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge. The second photo was taken on Sunday, halfway through my fifth challenge! At my last weigh in two weeks ago I stood at 20kg, 69.5cm lost.”

Andi Richards

Andi says, “I started my healthy journey in December 2016 as I was very overweight,  I could not walk five hundred metres without being out of breath. My skin was very bad and I had a lot of health issues.
In March 2016 I realised that I needed some help and joined my local bootcamp and started using The Healthy Mummy recipes and smoothies. My weight loss was slow but I knew I needed to not just lose the weight but build strength. With some encouragement from a close friend I joined my local parkrun in August 2017. I could only run five metres without stopping but I kept going every week pushing myself. Then in June 2018 I joined my local running group and met the most amazing encouraging people. I kept making my Healthy Mummy Smoothies  and Healthy Mummy meals over the months attending Bootcamp and running over the week. Yes my progress was slow but good things come to those who wait.

December 2016  I was 110kg, unhappy, over weight depressed and unhealthy.  February 2019,  80kg, 102 cm gone and fit happy strong healthy! If you are sitting on the fence and not sure about the change JUMP OVER THAT FENCE!”

Michelle Attard

Michelle says, “I am a Healthy Mummy and have been since August last year. My journey has been a bit of a roller coaster emotionally, especially when it comes to believing in myself and the process. I have especially struggled since Christmas, as I started to fall back into my old habits, which messed with my head a bit, and struggled to get back into my Healthy Mummy routine. However, I have finally found my groove again this month and I am seeing and feeling the difference again.

I have finally reached my 20kg milestone, well above 70 cms gone, and dropped three dress sizes by following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges and having my daily Healthy Mummy Smoothies! I have gained energy, motivation, determination, a fight and vitality for life, and I have gained so much more. I’ve also learned so much by being on the program about my body and making the right choices for myself.

This is not just about eating well and being on a “diet” for me. This is a LIFESTYLE change that I am embracing for my physical health, my mental health, and to try to be the best role model I can for my children. It’s not about being 100% strict with your healthy eating and exercise habits because, let’s face it, life can throw us some curve balls along the way. It’s about living in a healthy way, while still enjoying your personal pleasures sometimes.

There are no words to describe my gratitude and I cannot thank the The Healthy Mummy enough for this feeling! My only regret is not joining when I was pregnant with my first child 7 years ago. If you are on the fence about making a change to your life, then just take that plunge now!”

Jillian Ives

Jillian says, “If you had told me that I’d be able to smash out twenty burpees in a minute during my fitness test two years ago I would have laughed.

Two years ago I found The Healthy Mummy Facebook Page again after having my second child. I had gained nearly 25kg during two pregnancies. I joined the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge in September/October 2017.

The 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges are starting to make real changes to my life. I’m down into the low 60’s again. I’m strength training and toning. I can happily run for ten minutes without having an asthma attack. I’m making healthy choices. I have a little way to go to get to my ultimate goal but I’m loving the changes in my body and attitude.

Remember you can do anything you put your mind to! Go at it 110% and you won’t regret the results you will see. Slow and steady is my weight loss journey but I’m making it habit and a total lifestyle change. I’m kicking it up a gear this March and I’m going to get to my goal before my two year Healthy Mummy Anniversary in October.

Sandra Gee

Sandra says, “Proof the scales aren’t everything! 122kg to 112kg.

After the birth of my second, I lost a massive 22kg in my first year with The Healthy Mummy thanks to the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges and Healthy Mummy Smoothies. There have been ups and downs since then due to life and PCOS symptoms flaring but I have picked myself up and dusted off my failures.

I changed my goals, eliminated a ‘goal weight’ and began focusing my time on living a healthy life and building lean muscle. This has led to a gain on the scales but I have more energy and am stronger than before!”
