Banana Oats and Vanilla Smoothie

Oats are a great start to the day, as they provide plenty of complex carbohydrates to provide lasting energy.
 

Ingredients

Blend all ingredients on high until well combined and enjoy!

Raw Double Chocolate Peppermint Slice

Vegan-friendly dessert full of naturally energising antioxidants.

Ingredients

Base

Topping

  • 1/2 tsp natural peppermint extract
  • 3/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

Base

  1. Soak cashews and dates in boiling water for 15 minutes.
  2. Pour dates, cashews and water into the food processor and add coconut flour and cacao.
  3. Blitz on high for 20 seconds or until combined.
  4. Spread mixture across the base of a lined 20x30cm slice tray.
  5. Place in the freezer to cool.

Top

  1. Whisk the remaining ingredients together in a small bowl and pour on top of the chilled base.
  2. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours before slicing or in the freezer for 30 minutes before slicing.
  3. Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Makes 12 at 180 calories per slice.

Instructions

  1. Process all ingredients together in a food processor (except the water and sesame seeds).
  2. Once everything is combined add the water in and blend again until the mix is well combined and sticky.
  3. Roll into 8 small balls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Store in the refrigerator or freezer.
