Here’s a sweet way to start your day, from our November – ENERGY BOOSTING – 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge, which you can join HERE.

Prepare this in just five minutes the night before so that breakfast is ready to go when you wake up.

This is a great recipe to offer fussy eaters as most of the ingredients are pureed so there aren’t lots of ‘chunky’ bits that can put some children off their food.

You could even serve with the nuts on the side and encourage your child to dress their own breakfast, choosing what they’d like to try.

The chia seeds and nuts will help fill hungry bellies, keeping them satisfied until their next meal.

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup reduced-fat milk of choice
  • 2 tsp cacao/cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 2 tbsp chopped hazelnuts

Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor excluding the hazelnuts. Puree until well combined.
  2. Transfer to two bowls or jars, cover and place in the fridge overnight.
  3. When ready to serve you may want to loosen the mix with a little extra milk or water then top with hazelnuts.
