These 6 mums suffer from PCOS and have managed to lose 146 kilograms between them
Carrying stubborn fat around your middle can be a symptom of a larger health condition, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which is a hormonal disorder that can affect skin, hair, fertility issues and weight gain.
Despite the obstacles associated with PCOS, these six mums who suffer from the condition have managed to lose 146 kilograms between them.
They pushed through and lost an incredible amount of weight. Here are there incredible stories…
6 mums lose 146 kilograms despite PCOS
Libby reveals, “I have now lost 16kg* and have been a healthy weight for over 1.5 years for the first time ever!
“I understand so much more about my body, how to fuel it, and what it needs in order to perform optimally. I am more confident in myself, and love to dress in clothes that show off my new body, instead of hiding me,” she says.
Libby also credits smaller portions and meal prep for helping her cut down her tummy weight, as well as drinking more water.
Sascha reveals she over ate when she was pregnant, then struggled to shift the extra weight after she gave birth due to her PCOS.
“The Healthy Mummy has changed my life. It pushed me to be more educated, it made me explore food on a deeper level and experiment, as well as exercise three times a week and work on my tummy and core,” Sascha said, as she has now lost 32kg!

“I weighed over 83kg and was diagnosed with PCOS 15 years ago and I have tried every weight loss program there is out there, but without success,” she says.

Having always struggled to keep an eye on the scales, Sarah suffers with endometriosis as well as polycystic ovary syndrome.
