48 meals and snacks for $130 – that works out at $2.70 per serve!

Brielle is a first time mum and she is following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.

“We have a three month old baby girl so my hubby and I are never eating at the same time or if we were, our meals would go cold attending to bub,” she says.

“Now we can eat whenever we like as it’s just easy to take it out of the freezer.”

On Sundays Brielle spends time cooking snacks, lunches and dinners for the whole week.

Brielle has lost 4kg in 5 weeks following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.

“The left pic is before (1 month ago) and right is today – the first photo was taken when Bub was only 7/8 weeks old,” she says. “I look and feel a lot less bloated.”

Brielle’s top tips for meal prep

1. Shop online

I find it easier with a small bub and I don’y get tempted walking u and down the aisles buying things I want at the time but will regret later on. Plus, I save money.

2. Buy in bulk

This way the following week I don’t need to spend on much on the staples that are already there.

3. Always have stock

I always have my wholemeal flours, coconut oil, rice malt syrup, oats, honey, maple syrup, dates, cocoa powder.
