Healthy Chicken & Veggie Sausage Rolls Using Wraps
For a family friendly recipe that is so easy to make, these sausage rolls are ideal.
Using wraps instead of pastry saves you around 80 calories per serve.
This recipe was sent in by 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge member Krystal Connors. She says these are a big hit with her whole family, and they work well in the lunchbox too.
Tomato sauce is optional – but if you’re a kid, it’s essential.

- 4 wraps
- 400 grams chicken mince
- 1 zucchini grated
- 1 carrot peeled and grated
- 1 large egg
- 1 garlic clove peeled and finely chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup tasty cheese grated
Ingredients

- Preheat the oven to 180C and line two trays with baking paper.
- Mix chicken mince with the carrot, zucchini, egg, garlic and salt and pepper until well combined.
- Spread mixture evenly over the wraps and roll up to enclose.
- Cut each wrap into 3 and top with some grated cheese.
- Bake in oven 20-30 mins until fully cooked and wraps have browned slightly.
