Dark chocolate milk supply boosting muesli bars
There are three key ingredients with a long-standing reputation for boosting milk supply in breastfeeding mums: oats, flaxseed and brewer’s yeast.
These ingredients are combined in these delicious bars, which are easy to make and taste great.
Add an extra glass of water for each bar you eat, to help support breast milk production and efficient digestion.

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 2 tbsp brewers yeast
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 ml rice malt syrup
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 3 tsp rice malt syrup

- Line a small rectangular baking dish or container with baking paper.
- Combine base ingredients and mix well. Press firmly into the lined dish and flatten the top.
- Melt coconut oil in a saucepan over a low heat.
- Add cacao powder and rice malt syrup, and mix until smooth.
- Pour over base and refrigerate until set.
- Slice into 14 portions and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Makes 14 bars at 74 calories per bar
