Do I have to do the daily exercises or can I pick and choose?
While we recommend you do some exercise each day, we understand that finding a whole 30mins for your daily workout can be a struggle for mums. So choosing one of the shorter workouts in the app is perfectly ok. Remember consistency is key to getting results, so be flexible and squeeze in exercise how and when you can each day. My body is sore from exercise, what can I do?
If you are new to exercise you may find your muscles feel sore a day or two after activity – this is called delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). What can you do to ease the stiffness? One thing that can help limit soreness is to use the warm up and cool down exercises in the App. Also after exercise take time to stretch your muscles. Plus remember the discomfort is only short term.
My recommended calorie intake seems high, is it right?
How many calories or kilojoules you should eat depends on what your individual BMR is (you can find out your BMR and recommended calorie intake in the challenge App – add link). The challenge does give you the flexibility to increase or decrease your calories if you are hungry, full or breastfeeding. Though if you stick to your recommended calorie intake you will find it easier to lose weight sustainably. Learn more about calories here.
Do I have to meal prep?
Short answer is no, you do not have to meal prep. We understand that finding the time to meal prep as a busy mum can feel impossible.
