Taylor Davis is quite rightly over the moon having lost 6 and a half kilos, 2 dress sizes and 30 cm from her body. Not only is she looking and feeling so much better, but she is also loving the health benefits. As a severe asthmatic, she has improved her lung capacity and no longer feels out of breath when exercising!

About Taylor

Taylor is 19 from Western Syndey and while she doesn’t have any children, a family member suggested she take a look at the Healthy Mummy.

“I currently have no kids, I was encouraged to try Healthy Mummy by my mother in law, so I guess you can say I am the kid!”

Taylor knew she needed to change her lifestyle, and was keen to give the 28 Day Weight Challenge a go.

“The moment that made me decide that I needed to lose weight was when I moved out of home and struggled to keep up with all the work and felt always exhausted and lethargic. I knew I couldn’t keep doing this.”

“I have been a severe asthmatic from birth and prior to starting the Healthy Mummy I was sitting at about a 5L lung capacity, this meant I struggled to maintain a normal breathing pattern with even slight exertion.”

“Since starting the Healthy Mummy, the consistent and balanced exercise from the App has allowed me to build my lung capacity to 6.5L meaning I can breath easier and do not feel so short of breath when exercising! I am able to run for approximately 7 minutes without break (as opposed to the 30 seconds before Healthy Mummy) and I can regain my breath a lot easier!”

Not only that, Taylor has noticed that she has had fewer migraines since losing weight and less acid reflux.

Starting the day with a Smoothie

Taylor loves using all the Healthy  Mummy Smoothies but admits that the Premium smoothies are by far her favorite.

Typically Taylor starts her day with a Healthy Mummy protein shake and a Healthy Mummy smoothie, and has come up with a great system for organizing her ingredients!

“I have a variety of 12 smoothies that I prep the dry ingredients for using recipes from the Healthy Mummy App and then I grab them and throw in all other ingredients that the recipe uses.”

Taylors Day on a Plate

Morning Snack:  “Typically have a savoury snack from the healthy mummy recipes and some fruit.”

Lunch:  “I have one of the many delicious recipes, the savoury mince tarts being one of my absolute favourites.”  

Afternoon tea: “I always have a Healthy Mummy smoothie prepared with milk and water.”

Dinner: “I again have a delicious meal from the Healthy Mummy app, one of the household favourites being the one pot spaghetti bolognese.”

Evening snack: “I typically have a sweet treat with a Healthy Mummy detox tea or the healthy mummy hot chocolate with collagen.”

Taylors Tips to get the most out of The Healthy Mummy

  • Pay attention to your calories, and make sure you are eating enough,
  • Get support when you need it, because if you don’t then it will be 100% harder
  • Finally HAVE FUN! There is no point trying to lose weight if you’re following a routine that you don’t enjoy
