Gem Rachel Bath says she was not happy with her body until she found the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.
But now she’s managed to lose 12kg in five months and is also saving herself $220 a week on groceries. Amazing! Here’s how she does it…
Gem says she signed up to the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge after seeing one of the consultants post about her amazing transformation, and she felt inspired.
“I was just not happy with how I had let myself not care for me, I walked but I never had done a proper workout ever in my whole life,” she says.
“Before I joined The Healthy Mummy, I would either not eat enough or when I ate it would be something that was quick and not the best choice of nutrition.”
Gem started off drinking the Smoothies once a day and she managed to go from 64kg down to 52kg in just five months.
“When I’d reached my goal weight, my next focus was to tone up,” she says.
“I started doing Tabata five days a week, meal planning and prepping from the recipe hub. I also started drinking more water.”

“My grocery bill has gone from $400 a week before The Healthy Mummy to my recent shop of $180 for myself, my partner, my daughter and our pets thanks to the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge App, which has taught me how to meal plan and budget,” she reveals.
“I meal prep once a week all the snacks and even lunches, I customise the meal plan to suit our budget and what we love to eat! Having access to thousands of recipes I feel I don’t miss out at all.”
Gem says she’s still able to eat her favourite takeaway food – just healthier versions.
“This lifestyle change has not only helped me but also my family now eat healthier and my hubby has lost 8kg eating the meals, my daughter loves all the food I make from the app and it has helped her to understand real food is not something in a packet you open and just eat,” says Gem.
“This has been the most positive change and influence on our family becoming a part of The Healthy Mummy lifestyle.”
