How Christine went from a size 18 down to a 10

“I have lost 17kg it took me six months. I have more energy, no longer suffer reflux or on meds very mild now, my Asthma has improved, not really an issue anymore,” she says.

“I love to exercise on the app I love Dance, boxing with Laura, and weights with Wendy. I exercise 30-45 mins a day usually a walk or app workout if I don’t have time to exercise it’s usually housework.

“I am mentally stronger than before with the help of the support groups it keeps me motivated and inspired.”

What a typical day looks like for Christine

Breakfast: I start my day with a pink porridge or fibre full smoothie.

Snack: Healthy carrot with a choc almond bliss ball for a snack

Lunch: I have chicken bacon wrap or ham wrap. If I want something warm I have cheesy  tuna mornay or Mexican pie.

Afternoon tea: Salted butterscotch fudge and a snack smoothie for afternoon tea.

Dinner: Chorizo chicken potato bake or curried chicken potato salad with chicken or salmon.

Dessert: Banana Cinnamon Loaf, it tastes like a donut to me.

“I have many intolerances and I make this lifestyle work for me and my family.”

Christine’s 3 Tips for Success

1. Buy a set of food scales great for recipes and getting the accurate measures of a recipe.

2.Make extra serves at Dinner for the next day for lunches or when you just don’t feel like cooking on those busy days and have meals in individual serves in freezer for a quick easy meals.

3.Do exercise and do activities that you love doing and make you happy.
