Sarah Klose had only been a 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge member for about a week or so before going on a family holiday but she really wanted to make her weight loss journey work, so she packed her blender and her smoothies and away she went!
She found it SO much easier than she thought it would be and ended up losing 2kg! What a huge phenomenon- losing weight on holiday!

It is possible to lose weight on holiday, as this mum proves
“Around about this time last year, my family and I took a holiday to the beach. I had been a Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge member for about a week or so, and I even packed my blender and Healthy Mummy Smoothies with me to go away!
We didn’t eat out as much while on holiday, I cooked from the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge meal plan, and when we did eat out, I made sure that we made better choices. And guess what? It was freaking EASY!
I got a lot of exercise in that week in the form of walking and I came home from that week holiday 2kg lighter than when I left! I LOST WEIGHT ON HOLIDAY!“

“Look at me now! One year later and I’ve lost 25kg, over 100cms and four dress sizes! Yaasssss!”
Sarah started her 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge in 2018 weighing 98.6kg and she was pretty miserable and hated the way she looked and felt.
“I signed up to the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge about a year ago, and have gone from strength to strength ever since.
I use the app every single day, and I meal plan every single week, using recipes from the hub for 90% of my families meals.
I now weigh 73.2kg and have lost over 100cms from my body. I’ve gone from a couch potato to competing in triathlons, half marathons, and most recently a 30km run at the GC50 Run Festival. I’m also training for a full marathon next year!” Sarah explains.
What has Sarah gained from her journey
Sarah has gained SO much, but the most important thing she has gained is her health.
“We have just recently lost my husband’s father and that has really hit home for me about how we are only here for such a limited time and we need to make the most of every single minute.
I intend to be around for a LOT of minutes so that means staying as healthy as I possibly can!”

What advice does Sarah have for you as you begin your health journey?
“Just do it! Don’t wait for the ‘right’ time, because there is no right time – only right now! It will be daunting and overwhelming, but just take it one step (literally!) and one day at a time. You ARE strong enough to do this and you deserve to believe in yourself!”
