4 ingredient healthy strawberry ice cream
28 Day Weight Loss Challenge member Jen Cramb has sent in this healthy version of her favourite dessert.
Jen says, “It’s my favourite healthy dessert for when I’m wanting something sweet that’s also light and refreshing.
“It’s very simple with only 4 ingredients and a blender needed to whip it up in seconds!”
Compare that to a store bought ice cream which is packed with sugar and artificial flavouring. We think this is a winner too Jen!
- 2 bananas pre-frozen and chopped
- 1 cup frozen strawberries or mixed berries
- 1/4 cup almond milk or milk of choice
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
- Freeze until set or enjoy as a soft serve.
95 calories per serve.
