Fig, maple and cacao bliss balls

If you’re a fan of dried figs, these tasty bliss balls should be on your to-do list. Sent in by 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge member Casey Biddle, they taste as good as they look!

Packed with dried fruit, nuts and oats, they’re going to keep you fuller for longer. No need to buy bliss balls from the health food shop, they are SO easy to prepare yourself.

The best part is you can easily make a double batch and store them in the freezer, so that you’re never caught short without a healthy snack.

  • 125 grams dried figs
  • 50 grams dried dates
  • 25 grams cashews
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 30 grams cacao nibs
  • 25 grams LSA

Instructions
  1. Blend figs, dates, cashews, oats, maple syrup, water and vanilla in a food processor until well combined.
  2. Place mixture into a bowl and stir through the cacao nibs.
  3. Divide into 8 balls, and roll in the LSA to coat.
  4. Chill and serve.
