It’s SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!

What makes the smoothie green?

Because the smoothie is jam packed full of healthy green veggies and fruit such as spinach, kale, celery and green apples, it’s what gives it a green appearance.

The bananas and apples add the sweetness to the smoothie and it’s full of fibre, so perfect as a breakfast replacement, snack or drink.

Why have a smoothie for breakfast?

We are constantly told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it helps kick start our metabolism and gives us the energy we need to face the day. But we know as busy mums our own needs tend to fall to the bottom of the priority list especially when rushing the kids out the door. A shocking 50% of mums skip breakfast.

Skipping breakfast can be associated with a higher BMI as well as lower energy levels throughout the day.

If you don’t have time to sit down and eat a lot in the morning, make sure you’re at least getting all your nutrition by having a smoothie.
