With a goal to lose 30kg new Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge member Andrea Atherton, embarked on a bulk cooking bonanza that will blow your mind!
And the best part is she had the cutest little helper at her side!

The motivation for losing weight
When mum Andrea had her first child she gained 30kg. She found losing 20kg relatively easy but struggled with the last 10kgs.
Soon after she went to America for her honeymoon and BAM! She came home with a lovely surprise. She was pregnant again!
Having now had her second child she says “I am back to square one and wanting to lose 30kg”.
A short-term solution
She says “I joined a gym earlier in the year, however my youngest who was 5months at the time, kept getting sick”.
This meant she couldn’t place her daughter in the crèche which meant she couldn’t go to the gym and hence was wasting her money on the gym membership.
So instead of going to the gym she began walking 4km to 5km at a time and started preparing some of the free recipes available on The Healthy Mummy website.
Andrea says “I have so much exercise equipment at home but struggle to know what to do without the guidance of a personal trainer or fitness group class”.
Biting the bullet “Why didn’t I do this sooner?”
Andrea recently decided to bite the bullet and sign up for the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges.
She says “So I finally bit the bullet and signed up.
What can I say? WHY DIDNT I DO THIS SOONER?!?!?! Loooooving the recipes!”.

Meal prep – Ready, set, go!
Not one to do things by half and realising the value of meal prepping, Andrea has commenced her Healthy Mummy journey with a bang! A huge bulk meal prep bonanza!

and several more delicious meals which are ready to go when hunger strikes.
Having the best little meal prep helper and taster!
As Andrea found out, preparing food in bulk is more fun when you have a little helper. Especially one this cute!
She says “The best part is I have my eldest daughter (4) having a blast helping me bake and cook, giving her seal of approval”.
“She loves the choc chip muffins. We made mini muffins and she demolished three!”
Set for success
After a busy day of meal prepping Andrea is all geared up for success.
She says “I only started today by doing the fitness test and doing some meal prep.
I feel so unfit but keen to see my progress!
