Healthy Mummy mum-of-3 Hayley Duncan has completely transformed her body and health. She has lost a MASSIVE 50kg, dropped 7 dress sizes and become the happy, healthy mum she always wanted to be.
Hayley credits her impressive weight loss to The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge meal plans; the delicious Healthy Mummy Smoothies and the motivation and encouragement she received from the Healthy Mummy Private Support Group. She shares her INSPIRING weight loss journey and gorgeous new body below.
Hayley’s weight loss journey
Healthy Mummy mum Hayley can’t believe her eyes. She says “I made it to a 50kg loss!
It has taken me a while with many ups and down but I have made it happen!
It’s all thanks to The Healthy Mummy and to all the ladies on the Healthy Mummy Private Support Group who have been my motivation and inspiration!”.
Struggling to lose weight after first baby
After having her first baby Hayley’s weight topped 105kg. Despite many efforts Hayley says “I always found it hard to get below 90kg!”.
After falling pregnant with her second child and developing gestational diabetes Hayley was suddenly forced to pay attention to how she was fueling her body. That’s when she came across The Healthy Mummy.
Joining The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge
“I wanted to be the best mum I could be”
Hayley says “I was a single mum for a while with two boys and I wanted to change my lifestyle from the toxic lifestyle I knew.
I wanted to be the best that I could be for not only myself but my boys too!”
Losing weight the healthy way
“When I started out with The Healthy Mummy I focused more on what foods I was eating and how much I was eating.
Exercise was not much of a focus to me back then.
I had smoothies every day mostly for breakfast and I followed the recipes on the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge”.

Eating healthy helped Hayley to get down 73kg but then she struggled to get it any lower and says “it would always go up to 78 and then back down”.
Another pregnancy – my healthiest yet!
After falling pregnant with her third son Hayley continued with her Healthy Mummy lifestyle – both fueling her body with nutritious meals and keeping active.
She says “It was the healthiest pregnancy I had out of the three.
As soon as I had my third son (now almost 11 months) was born, it made me even more determined to get to my pre-pregnancy weight”.
Hayley focussed on being more consistent with food choices and her exercise routine and the results started to show.
Increasing her exercise from regular walks to adding in home workouts. She recently joined a gym so that she can have some time for herself without the kids and now goes 4-5 times a week for an hour.
She says “Now I’m lifting weights and having my regular cardio days throughout the week and have a good diet.
So from the beginning to today there has been a lot of changes”.
Weight Loss Result – 50kg
Hayley has managed to lose a MASSIVE 50kg (down from 105kg down to 55kg) and is looking and feeling fabulous.
And she has dropped down from size 22 to a size 8.
Not only did she get back to her pre-pregnancy weight, she exceeded it.
“If you want something bad enough you will make it happen!”
Hayley says “It has definitely been a journey but I have not finished yet!
Now it’s time to start gaining some more muscle.
