Cassie Krawczyk has lost an amazing 46kg with The Healthy Mummy over the past few years and is determined to get back to her ideal weight once again after giving birth to her fourth child last year.
Cassie shares her story to help inspire other mums to jump in and start The Healthy Mummy lifestyle.
“My Healthy Mummy journey started back in 2015 after the birth of my 2nd child. I weighed in at 108 kg and it was time to make the change for my children. I lost 46 kg that time round dropping quite a few dress sizes.
I then fell pregnant with my 3rd child. I jumped straight back into Healthy Mummy recipes, exercises and smoothies after having him and getting back down to 65 kg and a size 8. My confidence was at an all-time high. I was loving the Healthy Mummy workouts on the app and building so much strength.
After the birth of my 4th child in 2022. I have been working so hard at getting my confidence back. Losing this excess baby weight this time has not been easy but I am remaining determined. I’m still using the Healthy Mummy smoothies and recipes daily. Although I’m not back to where I want to be as yet. I am working on it.
“Let me tell you. It hasn’t been an easy run this time. But the benefits truly out weigh the actual weight loss it’s self. I have extra energy, better mental health and a lot more confidence just to name a few.
I am doing this to show my two sons how to be healthy. I am at risk of type 2 diabetes and will do anything to be here longer for my sons but I am struggling financially so this money will help so much. I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
“I have 7 more kilos to lose but there is no rush to get there. These things take time and although it can be frustrating at times it is completely normal.“
Breakfast: Cassie usually has a coffee with a Healthy Mummy wrap or some toast.
Snack: Cassie enjoys peanut butter and carrot sticks or boiled eggs.
Lunch: Cassie usually goes straight for one of the many Healthy Mummy salad recipes.
Dinner: Dinner is Cassie’s absolute favourite. “Having 4 kids there is always at least one that isn’t happy with the meals we cook. We do a lot of meals that can suit everyone’s individual needs. For example, we will make porcupine meatballs and I’ll have it with veggies and the kids will have it with pasta.”
