  • 1 1/2 cups desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cacao can use 2 if you would like it a little more bitter
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 175C.
  2. Cover tray with baking paper and set aside.
  3. Beat egg whites until they form firm peaks (2-3 minutes with electric beater).
  4. Fold in coconut, maple syrup, vanilla, cacao and chocolate chips.
  5. Once combined, place tablespoons of mixture onto lined tray and place into oven for 15 minutes (time may vary between ovens).
  6. Allow to cool on wire rack then enjoy.
