The Calorie Booster Smoothie
One of our 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge members Kylie-Jane Larmour wrote to us to submit this recipe in the hope that others may benefit.
Kylie-Jane says ‘This is a smoothie recipe I have come up with because I am really struggling to meet my calorie target each day.
I have done this with both vanilla and cookies and cream, but I think it would work with most smoothie mix flavours.’
You can use your Healthy Mummy Smoothies to get up to your calorie target each day by adding just the right amount of healthy extras such as peanut butter, yoghurt, almond meal or nuts. Use a calorie counting app or the Calorie Bible to help.

- 1 scoop Healthy Mummy Smoothie mix any flavour
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 2 slices frozen zucchini
- 20 raspberries frozen
- 1/2 banana frozen
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 tsp peanut butter
- 1 tsp almond meal
- 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 1 cup full cream milk
- 1 tbsp raw cacao

- Place all ingredients into a high speed blender, and blitz for 2 minutes.
