Eating breakfast EVERY day helped this mama go from a size 16 to 8

Robyn works in healthcare, so her days start early and often end incredibly late.

She wakes up most mornings before sunrise, gets ready, has her morning coffee and hops in the car. The thing is, up until she found The Healthy Mummy, Robyn was skipping breakfast. More often than not, her first meal wouldn’t be until 10.30am. That’s six hours into her day.

“I actually don’t know how I functioned properly looking back,” she reveals.

What’s more, Robyn says skipping breakfast and eating at irregular times was a HUGE contributor to her weight gain.

However, Robyn says that all changed when she joined the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and turned to Healthy Mummy products.

The Challenge encourages mums to have 3 meals and 3 healthy snacks a day. This helps mums BOOST their metabolism and shift fat.

Since following the Challenges Robyn has made a HUGE effort to have breakfast every day. In between getting ready and hopping in the car – Robyn now makes herself a Healthy Mummy Smoothie for breakfast.

“I still have early morning starts, but on my workdays, I drink my smoothie on the way to work now,” she says. “I actually make my smoothie the night before so it’s even quicker to get out of the house, I just give them a good shake in my shaker and I’m out the door.”


What’s more, Robyn has discovered the smoothies freeze well, and on some days she makes two smoothies, placing one in the freezer. “I take the frozen one for my lunch”, she says. “And it’s defrosted and nice and cold by lunchtime.”

Why Robyn use to skip breakfast

Another reason Robyn says she used to skip breakfast (asides from being time poor) was because she grew tired of having toast and spread everyday.

“I have a Healthy Mummy Smoothie everyday (even when I am at home) and I am never bored! I add different things to my smoothie everyday”

Robyn’s weight loss success

Since joining the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges and drinking the smoothies, Robyn has lost 25kgs.

“I’ve gone from a size 16 to an 8,” she says. “The fact that I actually eat breakfast now has definitely made a huge impact on my weight loss. It’s helped to kickstart my metabolism.”

Robyn says that she is eating more NOW than she was before The Healthy Mummy and is the lightest, fittest and healthiest she has ever been in her adult life.

“My work morning routines are so different now. I have my Super Greens, I eat breakfast, I go for a run before work some mornings and I feel so much better!”
