For the first time in her life, this mum is wearing a size 12!
Now that the February 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge is over, Michelle has lost a total of 47.1kg!
Michelle was a size 18-20 her whole adult life, but can now proudly say that she wears a size 12- what a great achievement for this Healthy Mummy!
“I am most happy about being a size 12 because I never have been. My whole 20s I was a size 18-20 and just seeing how far I have come and putting the two photos together got me very emotional,” Michelle said.
How she did it
Michelle exercises from the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge exercise hub 3 times a week, loving to work out with the resistance bands and Tabata.
“I love fast and effective workouts as a busy mum of three as I don’t always have a lot of time,” she says.
For Tabata all Michelle needs is a free four minutes! She also does weights at the gym two days a week and allows herself the weekends for recovery.
Michelle also credits meal planning for getting to a size 12.
“Meal planning and being organised is key for me, if I didn’t have meals prepped I would go for a less healthy option, if the healthy options are there I know I will succeed,” she says.
When it comes to a meal plan, Michelle likes to repeat meals and snacks and she doesn’t make seperate meals so it has to be something the rest of her family will eat too.
“Last night I made up 30 meals, and 60 snacks using only 6 main meal recipes and 2 snack recipes, and I prepped them for the week!” Michelle said.

Goals for March for Michelle are to get into the 60kg weight range, something she says she has not been since she was 12 years old.
“I am excited for the new exercises that will be added on the Butt and Thighs 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and working on the specific butt area, as normally I don’t target certain areas,” Michelle said.
