Celeste shares, “I have seen a huge change in both physical and mental health. Physically I can run kilometres now. Mentally I feel like losing the weight and just training, in general, made me a happier person in myself.”

Celeste has gone from 85 kilos to 58 kilos. Her fat percentage has also dropped from 29% down to 14%.

The Healthy Mummy community was a huge help to Celeste

“Without the Healthy Mummy support groups, without the motivation, without the recipes I wouldn’t have been able to achieve my goal.

“The days are always busy between studying, single mum, working and running a household but even if it was for 15 minutes some exercise is better then not at all.”

“Was it hard? Yes. Where there days I didn’t feel like training? Yes. Where there days I didn’t feel like eating good food and just binge eating crap? OH HELL YES, but those days didn’t mean that I couldn’t achieve my goal.”

Celeste’s favourite Healthy Mummy recipes

Celeste’s three tips for success

  1. Consistency – being consistent helped me stay motivated.
  2. Understanding progress takes time – it doesn’t happen overnight. You won’t do one workout and see results. The results will happen in time.
  3. It is OK to fail off the wagon occasionally – Understanding it is okay to not have perfect days every day.

Celeste adds, “No matter what, you can achieve your goal if you want. It takes time, it doesn’t happen overnight. Just keep on going ladies.

“The Healthy Mummy stories and yummy recipes have been the reason I have lost all of my weight. It has helped me be able to lose weight while eating realistic food.”
