Inspiring mum Cassy Cooley reveals her mind-blowing back transformation after just 4 months following The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges.
She says her before and after photos have reminded her of how far she has come and given her the motivation to keep striving towards her weight loss goal. Way to go Cassy!

Cassy Cooley has a 2 year old son and has been following The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges for just over 12 months.
She says “I’d heard of The Healthy Mummy and wanted to give it a try as I’d seen some of the amazing transformations of others through social media. I decided to give it a go and never looked back”.
Getting started on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges
Cassy was a little hesitant when first signing up to the Heathy Mummy Challenges saying “I was overwhelmed at first because I’d tried so many ‘diets’ and failed not long after starting“.
But I realised pretty quickly that this wasn’t another diet, it was a lifestyle change”.
No food groups cut out
Cassy quickly embraced the 28 Day Challenge meal plans and recipes when she realised that no food groups are cut out. Not even chocolate!. See 9 healthy chocolate recipes you will drool over
She was able to enjoy all of her favorite foods, simply made in a more healthy way.
“Now I’m so much more confident and don’t feel like I’m missing out on any delicious foods” says Cassy.

For exercise Cassy goes to the gym 4 – 5 days per week and also has 1 personal training session per week. On the days she can’t get to the gym she does a variety of the weight and cardio classes available on the Healthy Mummy exercises on the App.
She says “I’ve found that ab exercises and body pump/weight training are definitely helping with toning up”.
Cassy smashed her goal to lose 20kg by Christmas and won a prize at her gym. Go Cassy!
Obstacles and how Cassy has overcome them
Old habits are hard to break and Cassy admits that having been an emotional eater most of her life, breaking that habit wasn’t easy.
She says “I’ve had to cut down on sugar and ensure I was eating within my required calories each day which I found to be quite hard (some days I still do). I used to be an emotional eater so it was quite difficult to break that habit.
I have my bad days, but I don’t get stuck there.
I tell myself it’s just a bad day and that I can start fresh again tomorrow”.
I’ve received some great tips from Healthy Mummy online articles and other mum’s in the Healthy Mummy Facebook support group. This helped me with alternative methods and ideas to break bad habits”.

Staying motivated – “I compare photos”
Not immune to bad days Cassie says “some days I get caught up in my depression/anxiety amongst other health issues and wonder whether it’s all worth it, then I compare photos and remember how hard I’ve worked to get where I am today”.
Mind blowing back transformation in 4 months
Cassy says “This is why it’s so important to take progress shots. There’s only 4 months difference between these 2 photos!”.
Weight Loss – 27kg in 12 months
In 12 months Cassy has dropped from 138kg down to 111kg (27kg) and size 24-26 down to size 18 (3 dress sizes).
“I’m happier and healthier”
“I’m healthier, happier and also role modeling healthier habits for my toddler” says Cassy.
“The Healthy Mummy has changed my life for the better and I look forward to smashing more weight loss goals”.
