This Motivating Mum shares her favourite things about the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and her tips to get through summer

Phoebe Phillips found The Healthy Mummy after her fourth baby. She joined The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and said goodbye to 33 kilos in the first 12 months.

Phoebe’s story

Phoebe says she found The Healthy Mummy when she had her fourth baby. She joined The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge just over a year ago and has gone on to lose 33 kgs.

“I was 110kgs and now I’m 77 kgs,” Phoebe says. “I’ve lost over 130cm too!” Phoebe has four young children, ages seven, four, three and one.

“I’m also a Navy wife, so the majority of the time I’m on my own,”  Phoebe explains.

Phoebe says that her summer goals are to complete her first half marathon. “Something 33 kilos ago I’d never dream of doing!”

Phoebe shares five tips for staying on track in the summer season

  1. Meal plan and prep. “It is easier to stay on track if you are organised.”
  2. Take measurements and photos. “They sometimes show more than the scales.”
  3. Do repeat meals. “Repeating your meals makes for less cooking and it is easier on your meal plan.”
  4. Enjoy your exercises. “You don’t want your exercise regime to be a chore, enjoy them.”
  5. Have fun. “Most importantly, HAVE FUN! You will stay on track if you enjoy yourself.. plus you deserve to enjoy yourself.”
