With just some left over cooked spaghetti, you can use this recipe in lots of different ways. You could try adding grated vegetables, different herbs or spices or try adding diced ham or bacon to increase protein.

  • 1 tsp fresh parsley roughly cooked
  • 1/3 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 2 1/2 tbsp wholemeal breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp plain wholemeal flour
  • 1/2 clove garlic crushed
  • 1 free range egg lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
  1. Heat a small frying pan over medium- high heat, lightly spray with cooking oil.
  2. In a large bowl combine all ingredients, mixing well.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop the mixture into 6 small circles, you may need to cook 3 bites at a time.
  4. Allow to cook on one side until the bites start to brown, it should only take 1-2 minutes. Flip bite over, cook until light browned and cooked through.
  5. Two Bites is one serve. Savoury Spaghetti bites can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
