5 Ingredient Wholemeal Crumpet with Berry Compote

For a sweet start to the day, you can’t go past this delicious crumpet recipe with homemade jam.

Choosing wholemeal varieties of things you enjoy such as crumpets, pasta and bread means you can still enjoy them without the sugar spikes and the feeling of ‘I’m so full it hurts!’ after eating.

As part of the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge we often say that nothing is off limits, you just need to make the best choices you can. Using healthy ingredients to make your own jam is also a great way to reduce the sugar in your healthy eating plan.
