Mum shares some of her favourite Healthy Mummy recipes to help fight pregnancy cravings

Pregnancy cravings are something that most mums-to-be deal with during pregnancy and our Meal Prep Queen Sascha Farley is no different. She is currently enjoying her first Healthy Mummy pregnancy and using our recipes to help fill her cravings.

Our Meal Prep Queen and Healthy Mummy Sascha Farley is currently pregnant with her third bub and experiencing her first pregnancy since discovering The Healthy Mummy, she has been sharing her experiences and tips with us.

Like other mums-to-be, Sascha is getting food cravings during her pregnancy but she is using some of her favourite Healthy Mummy recipes to help curb or fulfil those cravings.

Sascha says that this pregnancy she has been far more aware of literally eating for two and thanks to The Healthy Mummy has found dealing with food and pregnancy cravings to be easier.

“Cravings can be so hard to manage while pregnant! They can seriously take over. This is the first pregnancy I’ve had with The Healthy Mummy by my side, so the food  has been much easier.”

“I am still customising the 28 Day Challenges while pregnant! I’ve just made sure my calories aren’t in a deficit which is easy with the BMR calculator in the app!! It also means I can easily search anything I’m craving for and make it at home, so I know exactly what I’m eating!”

Sascha has shared some of the delicious recipes that have worked for her to help tackle her cravings.

Chocolate! The Lava Mug Cake is seriously amazing!

Who would have thought that chocolate cake would be on the menu as part of a healthy eating plan?

This cake is filled with fibre thanks to the wholemeal flour and high in antioxidants thanks to the cacao powder dark chocolate bits.

As a Meal Prep Queen Sascha understands and preaches the benefits of meal prepping ahead of time so she preps her food as much as possible and says, “Meal prep is meant to be something that makes your life easier and prep can come in many forms – BIG and SMALL!”
