Emma shares that she is on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge for herself and in turn, her family now gets the best version of her!

Emma Smith, 31, from South West Victoria is a mum of 3 children, Conor 5yrs, Vivienne 3yrs and Thea 10months.

Emma shares, “I started my Healthy Mummy journey in May 2017 and I won our local 100 Days to Summer competition, losing 15kgs.

“I then fell pregnant with our 3rd baby and had a healthy pregnancy, not putting on too much weight. I had Thea in March 2019. Since then I’ve lost another 10kgs, giving me a total loss of 25kgs.

“I am on this journey for me and in turn, my family gets the best version of me.”

“I play netball once a week and I run 4km most days, which I could never have done before I found The Healthy Mummy. I am a much happier wife and mother, I can keep up with my kids and I love being able to throw on some clothes without worrying how they look on me.

Emma’s favourite Healthy Mummy recipes and Smoothies

Emma says, “I have a Vanilla Smoothie every morning for breakfast with 1/2 a banana, frozen berries, protein powder and oats.

My absolute favourite snack recipes are Raspberry muffins, Choc chip banana bread, Cookie Dough Truffles and Caramel Cheesecake Bliss Balls. Emma adds, “For me, consistency is the key to my success and making sure I get my 30mins of exercise done each day. Having my favourite Healthy Mummy snack options on hand helps me to easily make a healthy choice every day.

“If I feel like I’m lacking motivation, I try to remember my end goal and how I’ll feel when I reach it. I also have a motivation board that I reflect on to keep me on track. I’m about 4kgs from my goal weight!
