No Bake Nutty Oat Crispy Slice

This is a great recipe to have on hand to feed hungry kids for afternoon tea. It’s also great for busy mums, as it travels well in your bag while you’re out and about.

Just a handful of ingredients is all you need to make this nutty sweet snack.

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups puffed rice
  • 1/2 cup sultanas
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup sultanas
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter

Sultana Oat Crispy Slice
Instructions
  1. Line a loaf pan or similar with baking paper and set aside.
  2. Mix oats, puffed rice and sultanas in a bowl.
  3. Over a low heat, soften honey, peanut butter and vanilla.
  4. Combine both mixtures and mix well.
  5. Press VERY FIRMLY into a lined tray.
  6. Pop in the freezer to set.
  7. Once set, cut into 12 pieces and enjoy straight from the freezer.
  8. Best kept stored in freezer.
