Five ingredient sultana and oat slice
Here’s a healthy alternative to a store bought slice or muesli bar, and it contains all pantry cupboard staples.
Sweetened with just sultanas and a little rice malt syrup or honey, it shows that you can easily make healthy snacks without added white sugar.
The kids will love this too as a healthy after school snack.

- 1/2 cup sultanas
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp rice malt syrup or honey
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Ingredients

- Line a loaf pan or similar with baking paper and set aside.
- Blitz sultanas until they have broken down and are sticky.
- Add peanut butter, vanilla, rice malt syrup and water and blitz to combine.
- Add oats and cinnamon and blitz until all ingredients are well combined.
- Press evenly into prepared pan and place in the fridge/freezer to set.
- Once set cut into 10 pieces and store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
