Healthy Turkey Cheese Burger under 400 cals!
Burgers don’t have to be off the menu when you’re following a healthy eating plan!
Here’s a recipe for a healthy alternative to a take-out burger. This Turkey Burger is delicious and healthy and filled with protein, fibre and calcium. But the best bit is, it’s so tasty you wouldn’t even realise it’s not from your local takeaway place.

- 250 g turkey mince
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. freshly chopped thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper
- 2 x 50 g wholegrain buns
- 2 slices tasty cheese
- Spinach leaves
- 2 thick slices of tomato
Ingredients

- Mix together the turkey mince, egg, thyme and salt and pepper. Shape into two patties.
- Grill the turkey burgers on either side until fully cooked through. Lay a slice of cheese onto each burger for the last 30 seconds of cooking.
- Slice the wholemeal bun through the middle, leaving it intact on at least one side. Serve the burger on the bun with the spinach and the tomato.
This recipe makes 2 servings. Calories per serve – 366.
