A little bit on Rae’s journey
Rae has lost an amazing 20+ kilograms by following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and sipping on Healthy Mummy Smoothies. However, despite her amazing weight loss transformation, Rae says The Healthy Mummy has really and truly helped her find her inner-confidence and practice ‘self-love’.
Rae’s confidence however, is something incredibly new to her. Prior to her transformation, she didn’t feel so confident and comfortable in her own skin. However, by focussing on her inner health, eating well and exercising more she has been able to transform both on the inside and the out.
Though the mum-of-three admits she still has ‘not so fabulous days’ – as we all do – her new lifestyle has taught her (and continues to help her) how to everyday handle stress.
Rae says, “There is no race, it really doesn’t matter if you get to your goals in a month or a year. What matters is that you have cemented better practices to ensure that this sticks as a lifestyle.”
However Rae encourages mums to REMEMBER healthy living and weight loss is all about MODERATION and BALANCE!
“If losing weight means missing out on living your life then you have missed the point!
“The Healthy Mummy teaches you balance and moderation and encourages you to eat the cake at time but to then come back to your better choices.”
What’s more Rae credits her lifestyle with The Healthy Mummy for helping her overcome her anxiety. The mum-of-three admits, “I am no longer the girl who suffered debilitating anxiety and regular panic attacks.
“The one full of excuses not to go out and enjoy life. I am now this amazing butterfly who loves her life and lives it with no worries”.
