Hello Healthy Mummy!
My name is Bozana Smith and I’m a mum to a beautiful, energetic 2 year old girl.
I am excited to be one of the February Motivating Mums!
I’ve struggled with my weight for a long time. Trying all sorts of restrictive diets, losing then gaining it all back again as it was unsustainable! After I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl over 2 years ago, I realised it was time to give The Healthy Mummy weight loss plans a try.
It was the best decision I had ever made and I have now lost 36kg!
I purchased the 28 day plan and healthy mummy smoothies in June 2013. The weight loss plan is so perfect for me as I get to eat regularly, with easy, healthy, family friendly meals. I started off with a healthy mummy smoothie for breakfast and lunch, two snacks a day and a dinner from the 28 day plan.
I LOVE the Calorie Bible! It’s my go to when I’m unsure of what is a good food option to have. I carry it everywhere in my bag.
The exercises from the 28 day plan and the Healthy Mummy website are great as I was never an exercise person but these exercises are easy and quick to do. The exercise DVD is awesome especially as its segmented in 10 to 15 minutes and you don’t have to do it all in one go but if you’re feeling energetic then give it a try!
As Motivating Mum my goals are
- Try new recipes from the Summer cook book. There’s a few in there I haven’t had the pleasure of cooking yet.
- Have smoothies I haven’t tried yet. I tend to be a creature of habit with this and this will hopefully motivate others to try ones they were a bit hesitant on.
- Find 15 minutes extra a day to exercise from the DVD. It’s hard to find motivation after working a 10 hour day and have a 2 year old.
- Break my plateau!
My ultimate goal weight is 65 kg. I’m currently 70.6 and have been very slow on the weight loss front in the last few weeks. As you have less weight to lose it becomes harder and at times frustrating so that’s another reason I’m here as MM.
Plateaus are something I have dealt with a few times during my journey and I am now very determined to get through it. It can be very disheartening to see the numbers on the scale not move and it happens to a lot of us. We have to keep going as it’s so worth it to look after you!
