Before her Healthy Mummy journey started, Janelle says she was unhappy, had no confidence and her clothes didn’t fit.
Janelle says, “It would take me hours to get ready and I still wouldn’t be happy. I don’t have many photos of myself before my Healthy Mummy journey, because I just didn’t like seeing myself, so I would delete them quick smart.”
Fast forward to May 2017 and this gorgeous mum of two is rocking her high heels again, after 10 years without them! That’s right ladies, you heard it right!

Janelle says, “I first started my Healthy Mummy journey in October 2015 for a few months but only just started back recently as I had a pregnancy in that time. I’m a very very fussy pregnant person who didn’t stomach much at all.”
“I’ve lost roughly 11kgs * since starting again,” says Janelle.
When we asked Janelle if there were any activities or experiences that she wouldn’t have attempted prior to finding The Healthy Mummy, we were met with a resounding “YES!”
“Bootcamp!” says Janelle.
“I went to my first one on Tuesday and have my second session tonight. I think I’m actually still in shock that I even went to the first one, but I’m loving it!”
“Also, I haven’t worn heels in over 10 years. I wore them on the weekend and rocked them!”
“I feel on top of the world and I’m not even half way through my journey.
I’m learning to love my self and I love it. The Healthy mummy has changed my life.”
Janelle says, “My goals are to hit double digits and stay in them for good, and to actually be able to jog a few kilometres instead of 50 metres!”
