“Transformation Tuesday is one of my favourite days!” says Leah, one of the incredible and healthy mummies from our Healthy Mummy Community. Each Tuesday, we here at Healthy Mummy H.Q encourage mums to share their transformation pictures and stories in our Weight Loss Facebook Support Groups.
Leah first joined the Healthy Mummy and began following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges in February 2015. Leah reveals by the time winter rolled around that same year, she had lost nearly 15 kilograms.
“The Healthy Mummy has taught me how to understand food, how to balance my life and how to include my family on this amazing journey. I am strong, happy and healthy!”
Prompted by Transformation Tuesday, Leah has kindly shared her top 3 tips to help other mum’s along with their weight loss journey and goals.

Leah’s top tips to help you REACH your weight loss goals
1. It’s Your Journey
Leah reveals, “Don’t compare yourself to others. You will reach your goals in your time and in your way!”
2.Measure and Take Photos
Measuring yourself and taking progress photos will help keep you motivated. And in turn, stay on weight loss track.
Leah admits, “I wish I had more before photos. You will LOVE seeing how much you have transformed!”
3.Don’t Rely On The Scales
Sometimes the scales don’t reflect our hard work. If the scale number hasn’t changed much – that doesn’t necessarily mean you are not making progress. Sometimes we lose cms over weight. Sometimes we gain a little more muscle. It’s all about making each day count and to keep positive. After all you can do and achieve anything you set your mind to.
Leah says: “The scales bring you down…DON’T let them! Remember, you are amazing.”
