Beaming with confidence and smiling ear to ear, this gorgeous mama has never looked better. She shares some of the delicious meals she has been enjoying on the Healthy Mummy Challenges and her top tips for other mums starting the Challenge.
Sophie is 28 years old and lives in NSW. She has two children, ages 6 and 2. After losing 23Kgs* by following the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges (read her weight loss journey here) she continues to follow the program with a few adjustments and is maintaining her healthiest pregnancy yet.
She shares some of her favorite meals and tips for other Mum’s interested in getting started on the Healthy Mummy program.

What’s your favourite meal on The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge?
“Who’s your favourite child?! ? Seriously I don’t think I have a favourite – I like variety. I’m not a creature of habit with my food and I love trying new and exciting recipes!”.
What’s your Favourite snack?
“Another tough question! But bliss balls, curried eggs on pappudums and sweet potato crisps make an appearance regularly”.
Why are you doing the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges?
“Originally it was to lose weight and keep up with the kids – now it’s about teaching my children a healthier lifestyle and being confident in myself.
I never want to miss out on what life throws at me – playing with the kids, going on holidays and not being restricted by weight for activities, having the energy to climb mountains – it’s about experiencing everything I can!”.
What is your goal?
“My goal now is to have a healthy pregnancy and being able to have a great labour/birth and maintain energy for 3 kids soon!”.
3 tips for Mum’s getting started
1. Start small – don’t overwhelm yourself
2. Make a big goal – but also smaller achievable goals and remember to REWARD yourself when you reach those goals
3. Find a good support network – whether it’s at home, with friends or here in the Healthy Mummy community! Having people listen when you have a down day and encourage you to keep going could mean everything.
3 tips on how to keep going when you feel like giving up
1. Take a breath and regroup if you need to. Self care days help with this!
2. With exercise, I set myself 15 min timer. If by 15 mins I’m still not feeling it, I try something else like yoga or mind body breath to regroup.
3. ASK FOR HELP! If you’re struggling, rely on that support network to help you through.
