Meet Krystel! She is one of our motivating mums for April and she has kindly shared a little bit about herself and her Healthy Mummy journey with us.

This motivating mum has lost 15kgs* in just 6 months!
Krystel says, “I have been following the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Challenge for about six months now.
“During this time, I have lost a total of 15kgs*. After having two children (Payton, 4 years old and Parker, 7 months) I would have never thought this would even be imaginable.
“I have not only bounced back to my pre-baby weight, but I have surpassed my set goal weight.”

The Hurdles Make Us Stronger
Krystel says, “My Healthy Mummy journey has been nothing short of amazing!
“Although at times it has certainly been tough, I have persevered.
“Looking back now I am appreciative to have had those hurdles and challenges presented in front of me- as this has made me better and stronger as a person.”
One Big Happy Family
Krystel says, “Being with the Healthy Mummy at first I thought this would be all about me, and a journey that I would take with, and for, myself.
“However, this was certainly not the case. My weight loss journey has not only improved the reflection I now face in the mirror, the energy I have gained, and the positivity that surrounds me in everyday life, it has changed mine and my whole families lives for the better.”
“My daughter Payton is more active, and happier than ever, as she now has a mum that is full of positive energy. My son Parker will also grow up with a mum that will not just sit on the sideline when at the playground/park or sporting events. I can now positively say I am a good mum and a great role-model for my children, and to me this is most important. I am setting my children ahead in life, and equipping them with the right tools to live a healthy and happy life.”
“Throughout my journey with the Healthy Mummy I have come to realise that my children really are my motivation, and the main reason I will succeed. Being a mum certainly does not come easy and is difficult at times, but I have learnt that with persistence and motivation anything is achievable. Family is super important to me and if my health and happiness impacts on them, then this is my reason for change.”
Krystel’s Goals For April
Krytel says, “For the month of April my number one goal is to be even more active with my children.
“I will walk my daughter to school most days instead of driving, I will take her to the park on the weekends and actually get involved.”
