Mum who lost 30kg features in NEW Healthy Mummy magazine

Tarryn says her goal is to be mentally healthy as well as physically healthy, rather than obsess about the scales.

“Around this time a year ago, I had lost 21kg and it was still a very emotional experience,” says the Sydney-based mum.

“My mindset was so negative and I didn’t have a lot of confidence. Worst of all, I didn’t have enough love or appreciation for my body.”

Tarryn made a new plan. She was determined to work a little bit harder to become even fitter and healthier.

“I began to look at my whole journey with a more holistic approach and began focusing on my mental health,” she reveals.

“I tried to retrain myself to have more positive thoughts and learned to appreciate my body for what it was in the present instead of constantly wishing that it was different.”

“Now, I am so much healthier, happier, stronger and more confident.”

“I now love my body and feel proud of who I am. I sleep better and I feel physically and mentally better than I ever have before,” she adds.
